PELÉ’S HAIR TURNED INTO DIAMONDS. One for his future wife?

And we thought we have seen everything!! Pelé has managed to surprise us all with his latest enterprise: a limited edition of 1,283 strands of his hair , turned into diamonds — one for each of his goals! I have to admit it is pretty unique!! And it definitely sound like the ultimate super fan souvenir. I wonder whether he has reserved one for his fiancee as a little bird has told me he will be marrying again soon.

The diamonds are made using a high-pressure, high-temperature process during which strands of Pele’s hair are charred. The collection of diamonds will be produced exclusively in the real yellow color, brilliant cut, in different predetermined sizes, as follows: 1073 half-carat, 0.7 carats and 200 10 01 carat each. Each item from the collection will be delivered in a special box with a sign indicating the number of the goal, and a gold-plated sculpture with LED lighting representing the famous bicycle goal. Along with the diamond it will be handed a USB stick containing the recording of the transformation of Pele’s hair in diamond, when cut to the placing on the HPHT equipment, and also in his own hand signed certificate process by indicating the origins of Pelé’s hair and goal the tribute.
